Erin founded EC Immigration Law to help individuals navigate the often-complex immigration system by offering unparalleled personalized service.
After participating in research and settlement efforts for matters before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, Erin recognized the increasing need for similar work to be performed in the United States, and chose to specialize in immigration law.
Driven by a belief that our immigration laws should be used to keep family members together and to keep valued community members in our country, Erin has represented immigrants and their families in and around Seattle, Washington for over a decade. She worked as a Senior Attorney at Gibbs Houston Pauw before founding EC Immigration Law.
Erin is active in community affairs and served on the Board of Literacy Source, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education, equity, and opportunity for primarily immigrant communities. Her civic contributions also include working with various local organizations to provide pro bono services to immigrants.
Erin graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with high honors and a concentration in international law. She has lived in Mexico, Spain, Argentina, and The Netherlands and is fluent in Spanish. Her clients trust her to be responsive and caring, and they know they can rely on her ability to move their cases forward – keeping them informed every step of the way.
Ana Schormann, Associate Attorney
Ana Schormann is an attorney and political scientist from Colombia. After migrating to the U.S., Ana earned a Master’s Degree in General Law, obtained her license to practice in the State of Washington, and has been practicing immigration law since 2019.
As an immigrant herself, Ana brings a deep sense of empathy and understanding to the people she serves. Ana is driven by a genuine passion for helping immigrants navigate the legal system and get through some of the most difficult and uncertain moments in their lives.
Ana is a native Spanish speaker and has a basic understanding of Portuguese, which allows her to better connect and support a diverse range of clients.
Lisette Rosiles, Legal Assistant
Lisette was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and relocated to Seattle, Washington, in 2022. She is fluent in Spanish and has conversational knowledge of Vietnamese.
She is passionate about her work as a legal assistant. Her family's immigrant experience has instilled in her a deep understanding of the challenges our clients face, motivating her to provide compassionate and exceptional support. With nine years of experience in a legal office, she brings strong organizational and professional skills to her work, ensuring that each case is handled with empathy and meticulous attention. She is committed to furthering her education in the field of immigration law to enhance her ability to serve our clients.
Outside of work, she cherishes time with her family, enjoys traveling with her husband and dog, and is an avid coffee enthusiast. She also finds fulfillment in volunteering within her community.
